Assessments and Examinations

For Year 7 Students, Continuous Assessments are going to be held from January until March. Then, the second assessment will be on April until May. The third Assessment takes place on June until August. The Fourth will be on September until October. The students will be having their End Of Year Examination on the 11th until 19h October.

As for Year 8 Students, First Assessment are taking place on January until March. From April until May, the Second Assessment takes place. Whereas they will be having their Third Assessment on June until August. The Qualifying Examination is held on 26th July until 4th August. Another Assessment, the 4th Assessment, is taking place on September until October. The SPE (Core Subjects) Examination is on the 11th till 16th October.

The Year 9 and the MA 4 Students are going to have their First Assessment on January until March. The Mid Of Year Examination is taking place on 10th until 19th May for those students who are not taking 10th subject. While the Exam will continue till 20th for those who are taking the 10th subject. The Third Assessment is going to be held on June till August. The Practical End Of Year Examination is taking place on 27th until 29th September while the Written End Of Year Examination takes place on 11h till 19th October.

For the MA 5 Students, they will have their First Assessment on January until March while the Second Assessment is from April until May. The Practical Qualifying Examination is held on 26th until 29th July. The Written Qualifying Examination takes place on the 9th till 21st August.

The Pre University 1 students will be having their First Assessment on January until March. The Second Assessment is held on April until May. They are going to have Practical Qualifying Examination on 7th until 10th August. Whereas the Written Qualifying Examination takes place on 26th July until 5th August.

For the Pre University 2 Students, First Assessment is taking place from January till March. The Second Assessment is on April up till May. They will have their Written Qualifying Examination from 9th until 21st August. Some External Examinations taking place on 11th May until 11th June is the BC-GCE 'O', 'AS' & 'A' Level for May until June. Another similar Examination will be held on 13th October until 19th November.

School Terms

For the First Term, 51 days of school extend from 4th of January to 18th March.
The Second Term comprises of 48 days of school will be from 29th March until 3rd of June. From 21st June until 2nd September is the Third Term consisting 5 days of school. Whereas for the 4th Term, stretching from 20th September until 30th November takes 51 days of school.

School Holidays

For the First Term, students relaxed for ten days of holiday from 19th March until 28th March. Seventeen days wasted for the Second Term Holiday extending from 4th June until 20th June. Another seventeen days of break takes place from 3rd September until 19th September when the Third Term Holiday comes. The sacred thirty one days of Holiday for the 4th Term Holiday takes place on 1st December until 31st December.

Public Holidays

On the second of January, as always, will be the New Year Day. The Chinese New Year is held on 15th of February. The full-of-event National Day will be held every 23rd of February. While the Maulud Nabi will be held on the 27th of February. On the 31st May will be the Anniversary of th Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The Israk Mikraj is on the 10th of July. His Majesty's Birthday is celebrated on 15th of July. The starting of the First Ramadan is on the 11th August. The Nuzul Al-Quran is going to be taking place on 28th of August. The Eid Celebration is on the 11th September. While the Hajj Eid Celebration will be on the 16th of November. Awal Tahun Hijrah is on the 7th December and Christmas Day is celebrated on 25th December.
